Things That Cause Pimples What foods are safe and what should be avoided?
It is recommended that a diet high in raw vegetables and fruits are beneficial for good skin health.
Now for the bad news. Almost everything fun is a no-no. There is hope. Like all things there are many ways to find a solutions. It just takes some planning and strategy.
Foods that should be avoided are all forms of sugar, alcohol, butter–sometimes ghee(a form of Indian clarified butter) is ok, caffeine(coffee, black tea, and soft drinks like Coke and Mountain Dew). Green tea seems to be an exception–in fact it may be beneficial. Also stay away from cheese, chocolate, cocoa, cream, fat, fried foods, margarine, iodized salt. Sugar seems to be quite bad also because it grows all sorts of bacteria in your body that you would be happier without.
Lack of sleep, tight clothing, and oily make-up also contribute to acne and pimples.
